Welcome to our detailed pricing guide, designed to ensure clarity and transparency for our valued customers across St. John's, Mount Pearl, and well beyond. Our goal is to provide you with a clear understanding of our service fees, labor charges, and the factors that might affect the final cost of your appliance repair.

Standard Service Call Diagnostic Fee:
In St. John's and Mount Pearl, the standard diagnostic fee for a service call is $85+tx. This fee covers the initial assessment of your appliance, allowing our technicians to accurately diagnose the issue.

Labor Charges:
The standard labor charge for repairs is set at $65+tx, consistent across all service areas. This rate applies to many common repairs, including but not limited to element changes, blocked drains, belt replacements, calibration, pump repairs, valve replacements, etc.

Specialty Repairs and Rate Multipliers:
Certain repairs demand more time, special tools, additional personnel, reinstallation, complex appliance access, extensive testing procedures, etc. For these, we apply a rate multiplier based on the specific requirements of the job. Examples of tasks that might invoke a rate multiplier include work on induction cooktops, propane ranges, tub changes, utility disconnections, motor swaps, servicing stacked washers, etc potentially increasing the labor charge by a factor of 1.5 or more. Rest assured, any adjustment to the standard labor rate will be clearly communicated and approved by you before we proceed with the repair.

Practical Example - Dryer Heating Element Replacement:
As an example we will use a dryer heating element replacement. For the most part this is commonly a very straightforward repair but not always. No two dryers are located in the same place and accessing the compnents can be entirley different experiences. Your classic style dryer that can be accessed easily without moving or disconnecting utilities can be completed rather quickly to the point we don't even charge the labour fee, just the diagnostic fee. There are plenty more that access is extremely limited in a closet or tight space, maybe requiring a door to removed before being able to move the dryer that's stacked. The cabinet could be full of lint and require cleaning for safe operation. Water lines for steam dryers may need to be disconnected and difficult to access exhuast vents may need to be reattached. Most common brands can be serviced at the standard labour rate but rare cases will warrant the multiplier.
